THE YACHT

A closer look at the Oceanis 54.

This 2009 Beneteau Oceanis 54 is a GRP sailing yacht of 16.7 m, with a 4.9 m beam and a 2.25 m draft. Power comes from a single 110 HP Yanmar diesel engine from 2009, with 2,200 hours recorded. Cruising speed is 8.6 knots at 2,400 rpm, with a maximum of 9.2 knots at 3,300 rpm. Tankage is 475 litres of fuel and 720 litres of water. The yacht is located in Greece.

The layout offers three guest cabins for six guests and three heads, plus one crew cabin for one.

Several items were renewed in 2023: a 9.5 kW Paguro generator, a Sunbrella awning, and an East Marine tender with a 6 hp Suzuki outboard. The electrical system runs on 12 V and 220 V, supported by four solar panels and an inverter. Navigation equipment is by Raymarine, including autopilot, radar, VHF, chart plotter and speed and depth sounders. On deck there is a bow thruster, Lofrance anchor gear, one electric and manual Harken winches, and a foldable racing propeller. The mainsail and genoa are reported in excellent condition. A Bose music system and an eight-person life raft complete the inventory.
