THE YACHT

A closer look at the Laminated Motorsailer 41M.

This 41 m custom motorsailer was built in 2023 with a laminated wood hull of 4 cm, 2 cm and 2 cm layers over 6 mm plywood, finished in epoxy. Decks are laid in 2.5 cm Burmese teak. A single 44 m aluminium mast carries 1,500 m2 of sail, with a full UK Sails inventory and Admiral hydraulic furling, tensioning and mooring winches, above a 50-tonne new-generation performance keel. Two 685 HP John Deere engines give a cruising speed of 8 knots and a maximum of 15. The brochure lists 50 engine hours. She can be handled from three control stations: lower, upper and an aft docking station.

Five guest cabins accommodate 12 guests with six heads, and three crew cabins sleep six. A fitness room and a hobby room add to the saloon and flybridge. A 340,000 BTU Marincold central chiller serves all enclosed spaces, including the engine room.

She is based on the Turkish Riviera and is available for sale, and for charter around Bodrum, Göcek, the Dodecanese and the Cyclades.
