A closer look at the Gran Turismo 49.
This Beneteau Gran Turismo 49, built in 2014, is a GRP motor yacht of 15.8 m with a beam of 4.3 m and a shallow draft of 1.09 m. Power comes from twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 pod drives of 435 hp each, which have logged 1,450 hours. She cruises at 22 knots with a maximum of 25 knots. Tankage is 1,300 litres of fuel, 640 litres of fresh water and 150 litres of grey water.
The accommodation sleeps four guests in two cabins with two heads. There are no crew quarters. The galley has an electric cooker, and three TVs and a music system are fitted.
At the stern are a tender garage and a hydraulic swim platform. The tender is a 3.00 m Gala from 2023 with a 20 hp Suzuki outboard. Ground tackle comprises a 1700 W windlass fitted in 2024, a 25 kg anchor and 100 m of 12 mm chain. An 11 kW generator is installed, and the navigation equipment is by Simrad: radar, chart plotter, GPS, speed log and depth sounder. The yacht is located on the Turkish Riviera.
