THE YACHT

A closer look at the 52 Ovation.

This 2009 Silverton 52 Ovation is a GRP flybridge motor yacht measuring 15.8 m, with a 4.9 m beam and a 1.22 m draft. She is powered by three 435 HP Volvo Penta IPS 600 D6 engines with pod drives, Electronic Vessel Control and Volvo joystick control. Engine hours range from 594 to 684. At 2,500 rpm she cruises at 16 knots, using around 115 litres per hour. Tankage is 2,309 litres of fuel and 757 litres of fresh water.

The accommodation has three cabins for six guests: a master cabin, a VIP cabin and a guest cabin. There are two VacuFlush heads, and the VIP cabin has a separate shower compartment. The salon has a pop-up TV, and a Bose sound system is fitted. The galley has two Vitrifrigo drawer refrigerators.

The flybridge has a helm station, a wet bar, an electric grill and a sink. The 13 kW Kohler generator has 100 hours and has been reconditioned with a new control unit. Further equipment includes 64,000 BTU Marine Air heating and cooling, a watermaker, a Besenzoni hydraulic passerelle and Raymarine electronics. She carries CE Category B certification.
