2029 Tankoa T700 Milano

This Tankoa T700 Milano is a new 70 m motor yacht, built in 2029, with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, an 11.8 m beam and a 3.5 m full-load draught.

Five guest cabins with eight heads accommodate 14 guests, including an owner's suite with a panoramic forward view. Because the engine room sits entirely below the lower deck, the aft lower deck is given over to a beach club with pool. Guests also have a cinema area, a sundeck bar and observation area, and a pool/jacuzzi and helipad on the foredeck. A tender garage is fitted. Thirteen crew cabins sleep 22.

Propulsion is diesel-electric through shaft lines. Two 1,650 kW electric motors draw power from four CAT C32 944 kWe variable speed generators, which are biofuel/HVO compatible. The number of generators running varies with speed. Maximum speed is 16.5 knots, with a range of 4,000 nm at 12 knots. A 200 kWh lithium battery bank is fitted. A 200 kWe methanol fuel cell, shown as an option in the builder's documentation, provides up to two weeks at anchor without running the diesels. Two pairs of hydraulic stabiliser fins and a 200 kW electric bow thruster are installed. Tanks hold 115,000 L of fuel and 40,000 L of fresh water.
