THE YACHT
A closer look at the T450.
The Tankoa T450 is a new 45-metre motor yacht with a 2028 build year, offered for sale in Italy. She has a GRP hull with a beam of 8.8 m and a full-load draft of up to 2.4 m, and is built to RINA classification. Gross tonnage is indicated at 405 to 455 GT.
Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests in six cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom: a master, a VIP, two doubles and two convertible twin cabins. Five crew cabins accommodate up to nine crew, including the captain.
Power comes from twin MAN D2862L engines of approximately 1,429 HP (1,066 kW) each, giving a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum of 15 knots. With 55,000 litres of fuel she has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots, and carries 12,000 litres of fresh water. Zero-speed stabilisation is fitted for comfort at anchor and underway. A hybrid propulsion system is available as an option to reduce emissions, noise and vibration.
