THE YACHT

A closer look at the T55 Sportiva.

This Tankoa T55 Sportiva is a new 56-metre motor yacht scheduled for completion in 2027. Her sleek, sport-inspired lines are designed to stay under 500 gross tonnes. Hull and superstructure are aluminium, with a beam of 8.8 m and a draft of 2.4 m. Two layout options, A and B, are available.

She accommodates 10 guests in five cabins with six heads. The owner's suite has a private terrace. The exterior spaces open into the interiors. The beach club sits below the waterline, with a window half-submerged in the sea. A large aft pool adjoins it. Further features include a spa with sauna and massage room and a fly deck with jacuzzi. Five crew cabins sleep nine.

Power comes from two 1,600 HP CAT engines, giving a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum of 16.5 knots. Range is 3,800 nm on 55,000 litres of fuel, and water capacity is 15,000 litres. Equipment includes three Kohler 80 kW generators and an electric 110 kW bow thruster. Four CMC electric fins provide zero-speed stabilisation. The yacht is located in Italy.
